from Fukuoka International Airport (Domestic
Terminal) (#39:420 Yen 40min, or Nokotosenjo-iki:400
Yen, 30min), via the Urban Expressway. Get
off at Ishikaikan-mae.
Note that you need first to move from International
Terminal to Domestic Terminal by the shuttle
bus (FREE, approx. 15 min). As the bus runs
busy detour route, it takes much longer time
according to the traffic condition. |

250 Yen) and walk to Tenjin-Kita Bus Stop
for 5 min, then take a Nishitetsu Bus (TNC-kaikan-Yuki
or Fujisaki-yuki, 220 Yen). Get off at Ishikaikan-mae.
[case 3] Get off at Nishijin Station ( 290
Yen) and either walk about 20 minutes aiming
at Fukuoka Tower or take a Nishitetsu Bus
(#15, #25, 180 Yen) from Nishijin-Paresu-Mae

TAXI
About
20 minutes by taxi from Fukuoka International
Airport via the Urban Expressway (exit at
the Momochi Ramp). It costs approx. 3,000
Yen. In addition to that, you need to pay
the charge of Expressway (450 Yen) to the
driver who paid it on behalf of you.
Taxi system in Fukuoka is very simple. A taxi
has a taximeter. You need to pay the fare
indicated by the meter. You can catch a taxi
either at taxi stands or in cruising. Fare
is approx. 600 Yen for 2 kilometer. The fare
raises to 1.3 times at night (23:00--05:00).
