Deal APAN members and friends, We are going to hold APAN 2003 Conference in Fukuoka from January 22nd to 24th, 2003. Pre-Workshop on Natural Resources is scheduled on 21st as well as other related meetings. This time, EDU WG will run its own track on 22nd. Tentative time frame information is available tentatively at http://www.qgpop.net/apan2003/program/draft.html. As usual, we plan to have three tracks on technology, user and natural resources, respectively, although this policy doesn't limit us in modifying the tracks. 22nd has an extended track for education. Another track for WG meetings and committee meetings is handled by APAN Secretariat separately. Those tracks run in parallel. If you are interested in making a presentation and/or having a session on a specific topic, please contact each area director (and EDU WG chair for the education track) your presentation and/or session topic would fall in. Depending on the area, contacting a WG chair would also work. If you are not sure or expect us to assist you, it would be also fine to contact Program Committee. Success of APAN 2003 Fukuoka Conference relies on your contribution. Let's make use of this opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues and friends in Fukuoka. The 1st draft program will be discussed on November 29th, 2002, so we would like to encourage you to contact before that on your presentation and session in APAN 2003 Fukuoka Conference.
